Authentic Flavors & Excellent ServiceMy husband and I had a fantastic dinner at Don Orlando's in Joliet. We started with the ceviche — super fresh, citrusy, and perfectly balanced. For the main course, we ordered the lomo saltado, and it was outstanding. The beef was incredibly tender, the flavors bold and savory, and the presentation beautiful. You can tell the chefs take pride in their craft. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. This spot is a hidden gem in downtown Joliet — we’ll definitely be back!
What can anyone say when you have a meal that leaves you speechless at the table, all the way from the chicken and shrimp fettuccine Alfredo to the pita bread and cheese butter platter and ending at the Peruvian style fried rice everything was exceptional and perfectly cooked. It was so nice to come to an authentic style restaurant and have the waitress educate us on how her dad makes the food while we waited for our order. His daughter was so kind and polite as well as informative and patient with us while we were looking over the menu and offered to help us find out what options would be best for us.This is a child, friendly, and easy to find as they had high chairs available for my one year-old niece to use, we dined and kid friendly cups for her to drink out of and not make spills everywhere.Customer Service and Staff were exceptionally kind and made sure that our orders were correct and fresh to order. I would highly recommend coming here.
This is truly a hidden gem in downtown Joliet. Food was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was super nice and she recommended some of her favorite dishes. So glad she did.We tried the pollo anticuchero, the lomo saltado and the papa a la huancaina and it was all very tasty. I had the parchita for a drink and it was also very good.We will definitely be back.
Such an amazing find! So unbelievably authentic and delicious! We ordered a little over 300 worth of food as a family and it was worth every cent. We all thorough enjoyed everything. We had lamb chops, fried rice, alfredo, wings and it was all fresh and super tasty. One of the things that stuck out was his very well seasoned everything was! Can’t wait to come back!!!
Our meal at Don Orlando’s was delicious. I love ceviche. However it’s hard to get good ceviche in the Chicago land area. When I saw the photos on Facebook I knew I wanted to try it. Yum! Very fresh and tasty.
My husband surprised me by bringing me to this amazing restaurant. I had the fish ceviche it was delicious and spicy just perfectly seasoned. My husband ordered lomo saltado just perfect . Highly recommend you try it. The owner spent so much time with us we felt like we were the only one there perfect 10th anniversary dinner. We came from CT . Will come. Back gain when were back inthe area.
A real nice restaurant. We had the lamb chops and chicken pasta dish. The hostess is super friendly. They have a house drink (non alcoholic), I cannot name it but it’s delicious! Only a 3min drive from the Rialto Theater. We ate here before attending a concert. The restaurants only been open for two weeks, I hope that people in the community and visit in the city, we support it. It’s really nice.
